For months now, I’ve been looking forward to my upcoming television appearance on CatholicTV’s wonderful show This is the Day.  Imagine how I felt when the following press release landed in my inbox - the other guest on the show will be none other than Robert Duvall!  Unfortunately, I don’t think Mr. Duvall will be in studio, so I won’t be able to hand him a copy of my book in person, but it’s such an honor to share time on a show with such a noted actor.

Academy-Award-Winning Actor Robert Duvall Will Appear on Live Catholic Talk Show

On August 6th, the live CatholicTV talk show “This is the Day” will include an interview with actor Robert Duvall.

Duvall will discuss his role in the upcoming film “Get Low”, “a movie spun out of equal parts folk tale, fable and real-life legend about the mysterious, 1930s Tennessee hermit who famously threw his own rollicking funeral party, while he was still alive”.

Duvall is well-known for playing the role of Tom Hagen in the film “The Godfather” and also won an academy award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his role in the movie Tender Mercies (1983).

This is the Day airs at 10:30AM ET at CatholicTV.com and on CatholicTV. The show is rebroadcast at 7:30PM.

Catholic blogger and author Lisa Hendey will also be interviewed on This is the Day.

The more time I spend in the company of Catholic moms, the more hopeful I am about the future of our Church.  With so many faith filled women dedicating themselves to their domestic churches, our future leaders are getting a great base for their faith formation, as well as a true knowledge of God’s continual love for each for us.
