This is all so true! I've been there so many times and what I've found is you need a goal. After you find your goal, then you need a plan. Next comes putting the plan into action. I have decided to train for a triathlon. No, I don't have any past experience in any of these sports! But with a fixed goal (race dates) in mind, and a friend that is training and racing with me; I have now been regularly exercising for the past 8 weeks! I'm proud of myself and see that I am inspiring not only myself, but other! For me, having a fixed goal that is competitive is working. I've also gotten out books from the library and looked up countless things online. Having a partner is helping too. All of these things are keeping me motivated to keep going!

So thanks, Lynn, to laying out the truth. I might not have burned off all of my baby weight yet, but I'm getting back in shape and taking care of my body as the "temple of the Holy Spirit" that is, for the first time in a long time!!
