I am a scientist by training and in one way or the other always search for facts to figure out the ways of God's creation. His seeing for me gives me a fact I need. But more deep is the question your spiritual director asks you...perfect because He is right here, always. I know I am usually too busy to stop and see Him, often too busy looking for Him in MY way to actually see Him in His way. He has graced me as I have grown older with moments of clarity where I see Him in various ways in creation, in people, in joy. I pray He teaches me and grants me the ability to see Him more and more where He is in this world until we all enjoy the perfect joy of being together with Him in heaven.
