My daughter, husband, son, and myself were just talking about Godly names for various recipes. My daughter Lauren came up with the name: God-A-Burger, Angel Food Cake, The Adam and Eve Garden Veggie delight (my husband’s contribution.)

A few years ago (15) I was given a cook book by a Jesuit Brother “Bread Secrets of the Jesuits” or something like that. Unfortunately I loaned it to my little sister and never saw it again. While the book may have gone missing many of the breads are still being made by my sons, wife and me. For our family the kitchen is the center of the home, now that our sons are grown and soon to be going out on their own I hope that they will continue to tie the traditions of our faith and our kitchen together. From the description it sounds like Madeline Scherb has read my heart and mind when she pulled this book together. I can’t wait to get my hands on “A Taste of Heaven” so that this coming year can be full of new starts, and sweet memories from our kitchen. Don’t worry this book will not be getting loaned out..
