One very progressive nun had a Mass kit for my 3 children while they were attending Catholic primary school. All 3 are in there 30's now. I now have 3 granddaughters from one of my daughters. I am going to purchase the Mass Kit because my son and 2 daughters had such a good time with the Mass kit. Sister even had a white vestment and stole that they could dress up. (idea to add to the product list and if you do could I get one at a deep discount for sharing the idea???? Ha!!!) They brought the suitcase home for about a week.
They looked forward to their time w/ the Mass suitcase. They still talk about it! I can't wait to surprise my children with it when my granddaughters get it as a Christmas gift.

Peter, here is a response from Steve and Joni Abdalla, creators of this product:

Of Course! My Mass Kit is specifically designed with an eye towards young boys as men are called to the Holy Priesthood, however. We encourage parents and teachers to create environments where all children (and even adults) can participate in playing mass together. Hopefully, parents and faith educators will take the opportunity to explain to children the beautiful and important roles that both men and women play in the Church. We hope that this early childhood development distinctive will teach young boys and girls to grow in respect and reverence for the sacred history of the liturgy as it relates to the roles of men and women in the development of Christ’s Church.

Why does the church teach that only men can be Priests?

This question was eloquently and fully answered by His Holiness Pope John Paul II in his May 1994 Apostolic Letter, ORDINATIO SACERDOTALIS, TO THE BISHOPS OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH ON RESERVING PRIESTLY ORDINATION TO MEN ALONE. (Full Text Here). We could not put it any more beautifully and will not even try.

I heard about Wee Believers almost a year ago and just love what they are doing!

Kids today spend so much time living in 'virtual reality', it is a true blessing from God that they now have an option to spend time in supernatural reality!

It is very true what has been said about the vocations: I know many priests whose first introduction to the priesthood was the mass kit they used as a child, and it left a lasting impression. This could be the start of a vocational revolution!!!

Keep it up Joni and Steve! You are doing wonderful work!!
