Eating Healthy Shouldn’t Cost an Arm and a Leg

By Kelly the Kitchen Kop • Feb 5th, 2009 • Category: Columnists, Kelly the Kitchen Kop

My friend Anne wrote a great article on the costs of eating a healthy diet, and the costs of not eating a healthy diet.  I met Anne when we attended the same prayer group years ago, and I remember the first time she showed some friends & I around her kitchen – everything seemed so foreign.  She gave her kids this stuff she called blue bottle medicine, she cooked all her meals from scratch, and made her own butter, among other things – a little different from my world at the time.  These days I still have quite a ways to go before I cook as healthy as she does, but I’m getting better all the time!  Considering our current economy, I’m sure you’ll want to read this article, and I hope you’ll comment there and let me know what you think.
